Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and faculty members are best . Most of the faculty members are PhD qualified and well spoken. We have a good student ratio. There is a system of 50+30+20 , where 30 marks is for mid term, 50 for end term exam and 20 is for class assessment.

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have not that much knowledge about internships and all, I have heard from my seniors that there are alot of internshil opportunities from 2nd year , in 1st year we should enjoy and explore alot. And I guess stipend must 40k or something.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year only , before that every student is eligible for internship. College try to provide us alot of companies. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Infosys,etc take students from our college. Last year highest package for 86 lpa from ece department, and average way 13lpa. 80% students are placed by last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in this college is far less than other colleges . My yearly family income is less than 1 lpa so I can avail more scholarships. We can get any type of job, college provides us alot of opportunities to find a job of our interest.

Campus Life

Life at campus is wonderful, there are alot of clubs and most of them are interesting and fun. Annual fest is utkansh that mostly happens in December and tech fest is techniti. Library is very good , it has alot of books. Most of the supports facility are available. Social groups like CDAO, ZEAL , OCTAVES,etc.

Hostel Facilities

For 1st year there are only 4 seater rooms which are quite spacious. Hostel food quality is good , i mean it's pretty good compared to other private institutions hostels. We are provided with a bed , cupboard, and a fan in our room. Rest of the facilities are common for all like geyser, table tennis room, snack bar, tv room.

Hostel Fee: INR 35000 per year

Admission

I gave jee mains exam for the admission, and i have to score above 75% in my +2 exam. You can find application form on official site of NTA. I was obc student , I jst have to make a caste certificate to avail reservation benefits.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

NIT JALANDHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
