Actually, I haven't chosen this branch but this civil engineering branch chose me. Because it is available best branch for me according to my score. Some of the faculties are cooperative while few are not so good. finally, you have to read by yourself to score a good CGPA. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders. if you give 2 hours per day you can easily score 7.5+ CGPA in examination. all the exams and holidays happen according to the academic calendar.

Applications are provided for Summer internships from internal and external students. Students who are completing the third year are eligible for internships. Every selected student needs to pay an internship fee of 10000 rupees in the form of DD. Internship projects are bioprocessing of food waste to energy and chemicals, smart material, etc.

From the 4th semester, most of the students become eligible for campus placement there are many companies that visit and hire students like Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Tata, Paytm, jio, Samsung, Mahindra, Wipro byju's, physics Wallah, etc on campus highest placement is 51 lakh and average package is 12.44 lakh and average placement percentage is 73.8%.

The fee structure is as usual as other NITs in India. A middle-class family student can also afford the fees of our college. If your financial condition is not too good you can avail of the scholarship. You can also avail educational loan from a bank easily. Only a few students get interns in core branches.

The annual cultural fest UTKANSH(3 days fest), has been identified as the convergence of culture and confluence of the best talent across the country. Techniti is the techno-managerial fest of Nitj. It is the event of innovation and management. It aims to foster the entrepreneurial spirit among students. It is an opportunity to revolutionize the world. Central Library of Nitj was established in 1988 it has most collection of books that are used by engineers during studies. Classrooms of NITJ are fully air conditioner with smart boards and comfortable seats. There are many clubs and societies that are run by students of NIT j that are fine art society and Netra which is a photographer society. Rural activity club to organize different activities in rural areas. There are many playgrounds for friends to increase their sports activity.

I took the exam JEE where I scored 96 percentile then I went through the Jossa and csab counseling procedure. In the second round of csab, I was allotted a seat in the b.tech civil engineering branch. cutoff for the general unreserved category was 95.487 percentile for the same branch that I opted for.
