Likes

I love that campus is neat and clean .and dustbins are provided at every corner of the street
I love there are playground for every sports like racing, basketball, volleyball etc
You will get most of your daily need things in the shop in the campus and there are restourant in the campus also.

Dislikes

The campus is small as compared to aither nits
The teaching way of faculties is not good (most of students can't understand)
Hostel has too much time restrictions like hostel will not allow entry after 7.30 pm or you will be fined

Course Curriculum Overview

There are two exams in one term ,mid semester and end semester the mid semester is of 30 marks and end semester is of 50 marks. These exams are much difficult then you ever imagined. These exams are like you are giving jee advance in every 3 months but you will be provided great knowledge both theoretical and practical.

I am not currently planning for the things I have to do after degree because I am in first year and 1st semester now and the 1st year is the toughest year (according to seniors) so I am currently focusing on my present condition .

Fees and Financial Aid

Acctualy I am in 1st semester and have no knowledge about any job provided by campus but there are numerous scholarship you can apply for especially for girls and those who have parents income less the 5 lakhs.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in the campus from hacking to dance . everything you can imagine, there will be a club for it. I am in danc club right now but it changes after a semester for 1st year students and it is cumplsury for all students to join atleast 1 club.

Hostel Facilities

I am in hostel and there is much more in the hostel then I imagined.one and the only cons is the rooms are quite small but the food ,cleaniness neighbours are all fantastic and you will enjoy a lot in the hostel.

Admission

I did not go to any coaching and was just preparing for boards.before 3month of jee mains January attempt I acme to know about this exam and then I filled the application form for it and qualified for advance but I was not not able to qualify advance and got admission in nit Jalandhar ipe branch. For admission in any nit ,iiit,gfti or any iit you to appear in josaa counciling and after getting any seat in any college you have to pay paf and saf then physics verification at college (date is provided by collage) and you will be admitted in that college

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
