Course Curriculum Overview

4

Computer Science course is very good here. The curriculum is well-planned and contains plenty of good subjects. The faculty is awesome. All the teachers are highly qualified and talented. Classes are regular. The teaching method of teachers is great. Exams are taken after each semester (6 months). I would say if you want to pass only, it's very easy but study hard to maintain a good CGPA.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

You will get Internship opportunities but not at such good levels. However, you can find internships on your own through your seniors, friends, and college societies. The Placement Cell Society can help you a lot. In short, you have to work hard yourself to get internships rather than depending upon the college.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are average at the college campus. Companies like TVS and TCS visit the campus. The average package is not so good. But if you are deserving and have learned enough about Computer Science, nobody can stop you from getting a good placement. It's all up to you how skilled you are. You can go for a master's ( M.Sc. or MCA) after the degree. Keep doing internships for more and more experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are submitted once a year. My first-year fee was INR 16900/-. Second-year fees have not been submitted yet, but it might be around 17000 surely. There are not a large number of internships provided through the college but you can get it on your own as you would develop various links through college friends, seniors and college societies. There are government scholarships.

Campus Life

4

Life is awesome. The college has a huge campus. Annual fests and other tech fests are organized. The library is huge and has a large number of books. You can issue your desired books through your ID card. The classrooms are large and clean. There is a football ground, cricket ground, basketball court, etc. You can join your desired sports team. There are many good societies like ENSO and D-street which provide you with an amazing platform to develop more skills and unleash your passion.

Admission

The one willing to take admission has to take the CUET exam. The subject choices are mentioned in the annexure of Delhi University for the Computer Science honors course. You need to score around 600/800 (For the general category) to get admission to this course in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I choose this course is my inclination towards maths, Maths used to be my favourite subject in school also. Also, there are ample amount of career options after graduation in mathematics, like IIT JAM for masters, placements, Govt exams etc. The student-faculty ratio in our course is about 1:90. This is highest in college because of over admission in the course this year. That is why our class has been divided into two sections of 90 students each. This ratio really needs to be improved. The professors are well qualified, they have a minimum experience of 10 years in this field. Talking about the teaching method, it is overall good, they teach you in the simplest way making it easy to understand for every student, One can freely ask their doubts from teachers. We have a semester exam every 6 months. The question paper is set up by Delhi University, and the level remains easy to an average level. One who has studied half of the syllabus will also be able to pass the exam.

Higher education has never been more accessible, and there have never been more options for every type of budget, learning style, and goal. Having so many options is great, with one caveat. You have to decide where to pursue your goals. It's a big decision, and it can be hard to find quality and pertinent information to help you on your way.
