Course Curriculum Overview

Textile technology Course subjects are very interesting, this subject research base subject. Gcetts Faculty members are also good. All stream cse, It, Tt, Apm teachers behavior friendly. Textile technology teachers are also good.

Government College of Engineering Textile Technology, Serampore many companies are visiting our college. Companies like Aditya Birla, Jayasree, shahi, Vardhan, Raymond, Trident, etc. All students have placed this company. this year's highest package trident company is 18 lpa pre-placement.

Placement Experience

The textile technology department placement ratio is very fantastic. this course placement is 100 percent. This year placement 3 students pre placement 18 lpa. Other students are placed at 7.5 lpa. Minimum package 3 lpa. Maximum 25 lpa. Gcetts placements are very good.

My stream is Textile Technology Engineering. First 12th science stream after Wbjee entrance exam then Rank and alloted college physical verification. this method is very simple. 12th science - 3 subjects. Math must general 50 percent, OBC 45 percent, SC 30 percent, ST 25 percent. Physics and chemistry. Wbjee exam Rank 10k to 16k around.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements . TCS, Capgemini, EY , Amazon etc offers varies from 1-2 lpa Highest paid was 12 lpa and average is 1-2lpa According to google 90-98 % students were placed. I am planning to sit for placement and get a job

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.
