Course Curriculum Overview
MSc Chemistry is a versatile course. Each class had a strength of 45 including integrated MSc students. The department has enough highly qualified faculties as well as research facilities. Classes are interactive and each year has 2 semesters and exams at the end.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course had a nominal fee structure. We had a yearly fee of 30000. There were hostel facilities and mess facilities. There are many scholarships available. I completed my studies using the INSPIRE scholarship
Campus Life
The university is in a remote place. Hence travel can be difficult. The university conducted cultural events and celebrations including pongal, holi, onam, college day and graduation day. Various clubs were also active.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities were proveded. First year we had to share room with 3 others and in the final year we get 2 person bedrooms. Fees was nominal and had internet facilities. Hostels are within campuses. Meal quality was average.
Admission
First, we have to register for the CUET exam. The information can be found on CUET's official website. The exam generally occurs in the month of June. Once the exam is over and results are published you can get into colleges accordingly.
