Course Curriculum Overview

The entire course is of two years and we having a two-semester system, we have a total of four semesters. There are both theoretical and practical examinations held and we have a balanced curriculum with 50% theoretical and 50% practical .

Placement Experience

The college offers placement opportunities to students so that they can have a good start at their careers, The organisations offer a really great stipend amount for the students. There is a very high competition to acquire the placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course fee is very much reasonable and can be afforded by students coming from different economic backgrounds, the course fee for one year is INR 10,500 and hence the fee for the entire two-year course is INR 21,000

Campus Life

We have a very specialised, well maintained and well equipped lab and there are instruments and devices in proper working conditions, if at all any of the devices or instruments have any kind of malfunction, it is replaced or repaired immediately.

Admission

Getting admission, in this college has been very easy I had to first apply to the college by filling the college application form and a small application fee is to be paid along with it. After which I received an email suggesting my acceptance into the university.

Helpful Internships with Practical Exposure

Likes

Experienced and supportive faculty who guide well in both theory and practicals. They are approachable for doubts and research guidance.
Well equipped chemistry labs, library and clean campus. Good infrastructure for science students with modern instruments and facilities.
Safe women-only campus with good campus life. Regular seminars, workshops and events help in overall personality and career development.

Dislikes

Being a girls college, exposure to mixed-gender events and industry networking is less compared to co-ed colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers all core Chemistry subjects with good lab work. I chose this course for strong academics and research scope. The syllabus helps for higher studies and competitive exams like NET, SET. Practicals help in real applications. Exams are held each semester. Difficulty is moderate and most students clear easily,More workshops and industry training can be added for improvement.

Likes

The main thing I like about the college is discipline.
All my teachers were good and guided and motivated all in a right way.

Dislikes

The main improvement needed is the placement and recruitment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well structured. Some modern methods can be implemented like smart class. We'll have exams every month.Internal exams will be for 2 hrs and semester exams for 3 hours. The difficulty level of exams will be on an average scale.

Best of my life

Likes

Every Thursday we had moral instruction classes .this session very useful for me and personally improved my strength
Very different teaching methods,they explained the topic short and easy point that are very easy to understand quickly.
I loved my library lot of books is there, maintanence...very good.

Lot of job opportunities including medical and chemical field..I would like to say to improve instumental area .I didn't face any difficult level because..our faculty members already guided me how to face all struggle situation and how to write exam..

Worst colleges in Chennai -WCC

Likes

Exams can be usually easy as this is a five year integrated course
Some faculties are friendly as they themselves are fresh graduates

Dislikes

But most faculties come off very rude and disrespectful
The office people are not at all approachable
The student login has so many glitches which cause delays in downloading of hallticket

According to me, there is no bad opinion about my department. But some other department people told there is some lack of knowledge from department lecturers. Because they are very new to the lecturer job.
