Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason for choosing this course is its bright future. Faculty: Student = 1:30 No doubt that teachers are highly knowledgeable and can deliver according to the student but some Professors are egoistic and arrogant. No proper timing of exams. The difficulty level of the exams depends on the respected Professors of the following department. Exams can be done within 1 month or they can go for 2-3 months including practical exams.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are openly mentioned on the application form. No other fees are included after the admission. One-time fees after the semester exams. Every scholarship given by the State or Central Govt. is applicable here. Respected VC sir also give scholarship to the topper of each faculty.

Campus Life

The annual fest in our university is nairit. Generally, it is conducted in the months of November to December. We have a Central university which is the biggest library among all agricultural universities. We have smart classrooms in which smart board, projector are available. Sports and extra curriculum are also done here. We have an NSS group and another social group.

Admission

10+2 pass with a recognised board Application form is available on the official website. The fee is 1000Rs. The course has a bright future if someone can purchase it with his/her full dedication. The environment of the campus is good. Some of the teachers are very helpful The admission process should be done on time.

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate. A score above 95% in the board exam or crack the ICAR AIEEA UG Exam with a good depth of biology and chemistry for admission....Read More
