To be honest I didn't get a chance in NEET or JEE so I chose BCKV Our term exams are taken timely though it is not so difficult to pass. But the vocational students have to suffer to pass the statistics subject but our teachers are so helpful they always try to encourage us

Class Size: 1234Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have to pay around 7000 RS for this course in a term but our adjacent juniors have to pay around 10000rs for that same course. One can get all the state or central government scholarships like the Swami Vivekananda scholarship.

Campus Life

There are many annual programs conducted on our campus named noirit (social), nobarun( freshers), and annual sports like cricket, football etc. Then inter hostel or intra hostel, sports are also be held here

Hostel Facilities

There are three students alloted in one room . All the students have separate table -chair ,bed , shelf. We have to pay around 2500 rs per month as mess bill. The food quality which is provided is also good

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

Admission is On the basis of the HS results On the university website, no application fees are required There are reserved seats for the SC, and ST candidates. I got the opportunity to reserve my seat in the SC category. Otherwise, I can't get the opportunity to be admitted here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
