I chose it Because I have a lot of interest in plants and agricultural sciences. The student ratio is preferably high. All Teaching staff are highly educated. such as PHD,post.doc. There are two semester systems per year... One semester has one midterm and one end term. exams are relatively difficult and the guard in the exam hall is very strict.

Class Size: 89653Course Fees: INR 16000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Each semester's fee is around 7000. And the hostel fee is 2500 per month. Not very much cost to study because it is a government University. There have many scholarships like merit cum, Indira Gandhi scholarship,single child scholarship.

Campus Life

Naihrit is the annual fest conducted here Nabarun is the fresher's welcome program. Asian largest library is present in our university that's called Central Library. There are lack of enough amenities in the classroom. There is no website for students run by students.

Admission

10+2 with physics chemistry biology English mathematics Application form will be found in a nearby cyber cafe. They get more benefits. The admission process is slow It should be fast and less time-consuming.

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
