I liked the cleanliness of Dyal Singh College. The campus is fully free from plastics.
The college campus is very good. This is very huge. After Venky, Dyal Singh College has the most biggest campus in south campus.

Dislikes

I disliked the toilets of Dyal Singh College because this is not clean. There is no any cleanity.
The college is very huge, so you can confused by the many ways to reach the college.
During election time, politics heat up and you may experience some unsocial elements in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum is very good. I have chosen this course because last year this had a very high placement, i.e. 13 LPA. There are 30+ faculty members for this course and student seats are 33 for DSC. So, the faculty and student ratio is approx. 1:1. All the faculties are P.Hd. passed professors and very good in teaching experience. The term exams are held every 6 months. The exam is very easy if you go daily to college.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 15990 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is very good. For B.Sc. Hons. In zoology, the average placement for last year was 4.68 LPA. The highest placement of last year was 13 LPA. About 75% of students got a better placement for this course. My plan is to get a package of above 12 LPA. After completing this course, I will be admitted to PG in the same college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of B.Sc. Hons. Zoology is 15990rs per year. This is very low for this course and might be changed for reservation. There are some scholarships for good students. If your performance is good, then you have the opportunity for a scholarship.

Campus Life

The life of the campus is very good. There are many fests held at Dyal Singh College. There is a very good library for any book which you want to read. There are many books in many languages. If you are admitted to Dyal Singh College then you have more chances of achieving a very good role in sports. There are many ECAs on the campus of DSC.

Admission

The admission process is very easy and good for any student. To be admitted to this college, you have to qualify for the CUET exam which is held 1 times per year. Eligibility for this course is Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For the merit list, marks for only these 3 subjects are taken. But English is also the eligibility criteria for this. Without English, you will not fill out the form for Dyal Singh College. You can find the application form at CSAS Portal. For this, you have to fill out the form for the CUET exam. After the result of the CUET exam, the CSAS Portal will open to fill out the form for Dyal Singh College. The application fee for the CUET exam is approx. 700-1500 rs. This might be changed because of changes in caste and subject. The application fee for the CSAS Portal is Rs.250. The form of the CUET application is out in March or April. College life in Dyal Singh College

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.

My honest experience at kirorimal college

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the placement support in the 5th semester itself and 3rd semester for internship from the college. Well over 150+ companies visit our college because of the regirous efforts of our placement cell the highest package is 24lpa the average comes out between 5.5 to 6lpa Around 70 to 80 percentage of students get placed and after my graduation i plan to go for a MBA in finance.

KMC the life of wonders

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mathematics as a subject is what i admire the most as it needs more critical thinking and solving rather than just cramming textbooks.The curriculum on the other hand does not really help to face the real life applications as the curriculum is pretty outdated and needs innovation.It can have more practicality and example based teaching.

A Worthwhile DU Experience

I applied to various colleges under Delhi University and got merit based admission in Dyal Singh College in English Hons programme in first cutoff. While in others, my admission was not confirmed basically because of the high cutoff like St. Stefan College etc. I am really glad to be admitted in this college which gave me many oppurtunities and a great faculty with wonderful campus. I applied for this college in first round of csas and freezed i didn't for any other college .The exam required for admission is CUET. my course is BSc physical science with chemistry and to be eligible for this course you need to have pcm in class 10+2.In cuet you need to give paper of pcm and a language is compulsory . Call of the Unbiased

Admissions are done through CUET UG and then CSAS counselling. The Science department of Dyal Singh College is one of the best in all of off-campus. In some other aspects, like student engagement, fests and events, campus size, fame, DSC might be behind some South and North Campus colleges, but it's still arguably the best in off campus, and even some south ones too, as a science student, my personal preference except North Campus was Venky > ARSD > DSC > Rest of the south and off campus....Read More
