Likes

Due to low strength. Chance to participate in all kinds of events.
Climate is good here. Cool in winter, not so hot in summer.
Provision of free bus transport by the college to the near by town.

Dislikes

Lack of permanent campus. This is a major problem.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was a little interested in mathematics, and computers are in demand nowadays. Both combined mathematics and Computing was the perfect course I needed for my BTech. The faculty-student ratio is very good in IIT Goa, there is one professor for every 10 students here. For MnC we have 1 professor for every 8 students.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 272000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost to study is similar to all other IITs. The full fee is 1.36L per semester and it may decrease according to the family's income by 70% or 100%. Hikes will be given to final-year students who participate as teaching assistants. And for all Ph.D. and MTech students. I'm still in the second year so till now, I didn't get any job.

Campus Life

Cultrang is the annual fest and we have Cepheus as the tech fest. They are quite enjoyable. We'll get to see celebrities performing here on the night of the cultural fest. The cultural fest will be in March, while the tech fest will take place in February mostly. Yeah, most of the books are available in the library with a huge amount of copies. The classrooms have protectors and air conditioning. Even wifi is available in the classrooms.

Admission

There was no eligibility criteria for the course. The seat allocation and all were normally followed through JOSAA. Application fee, forms and dates all were mentioned in the website. I don't have any reservation, so I don't know about tye benefits that much. Yeah if the portal for the admission was a little more brief it would be easy for the students

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

Students sit for placements in their final year, which is mostly the 4th or 5th year. Many companies visit the campus and make numerous offers, such as Microsoft, Google, and BCG. highest package was 61 lakhs while the average was 20 lakhs per annum.

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

In my college NIT Goa, students are eligible for campus placements after sem 6 or the start of 7th sem till the end of the 8th semester The highest package is 44LPA and the average package is around 6LPA to 10LPA

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is okay okay but not that great . Mech and civil don't have that much package avg of around 6 lakh and i guess only 10-11 got placed .. and 16-17 was eligibile for it. For eligible to placement you don't have any backlog in any subject and some minimum cgpa required too

Trusted experience of Iit goa

Many students has the doubt of selecting best branch or college, I would say going for the branch yeah it's true that high collages have high placements but it's doesn't guarantee uhhh to get a job uhh must have the best knowledge so gain the best knowledge is best course instead of low branch and then doing other courses. Completing engineering from IIT is like a dream come true for every engineering student. IITs not only provide good placement but learning and the exposure and opportunities that we get is unimaginable. I also wanted to be part of IIT and I really worked hard for the GATE exam but frankly speaking, I am an average student and my GATE score was between 755 to 860 according to me ad my preference is IIT Goa was the best option.
