Course Curriculum Overview
BITS follows a continous evalautaion with no attendance policy You can choose courses other than CDCS which helps you make your own timetable. There are humanitives elective which also help you grow as a person like developing personality and all.
Internships Opportunities
there are plenty of opportunities like they have program of PS also known as pratice school its very helpful for students to get internship and work experience It also provides stipend of some amount to incentivices the student to work

4th year students are eligible for campus placements 501 companies participated in BITS Goa Placement in 2024 2315 students got placed successfully Qualcomm Google Microsoft Texas instrument were the top recruiters
Fees and Financial Aid
Complete year wise fee breakdown Year 1: 7 Lakhs Year 2: 7.3 Lakhs Year 3: 7.6 Lakhs Year 4: 7.9 Lakhs (included the hostel and mess fees as it is compulsory). Academic fees has a 5% annual increase and the the fees in 2023 was approx 6 Lakhs along with mess charges and hostel charges of 50k/yr for both respectively. which total sums up of 29.86 Lakhs for 4 year degree of btech There is no quota or reservation. The admission is completely Merit based. there is MCN (merit cum need) scholarship whose eligibility is Family Income <15LPA. There is also Merit Scholarship which is given to top 2% students.
Campus Life
There are 3 major fest that are Spree Quark And Waves Quark is the technical fest spree is the sports fest Waves is the cultural fest and these fest are organized in a very large scale and many different colleges also visit the college during these fests
Hostel Facilities
You have to stay inside campus its compulsory the meal quality is average that we get in mess you cant live outside campus in PG or Rented rooms the facility is also average not so good or bad there is a stable net connection and 24/7 water supply
Admission
I applied to several top engineering colleges like NITs and LNMIIT along with BITS but after consulting with seniors of bits i found that it would be the best option for me. as it has a huge campus with lots of placement opportunites
Faculty
BITS has 900+ faculty across all campuses and the faculty to student ratio is quite favorable for student. faculty member are highly approchable. Name of few faculties who are the best are Prof. Abhijit Pethe Prof. Kannan Prof.Pradeep Faculty members are exceptionally qualified with decades of experience in their respective fields
Interview Experience
No GD were there and no interview there was one written test that is BITSAT conducted which gives the merit based addmission Prepare for jee mains and u will easily get shortlisted for BITS BITSAT would be easier than jee mains
Night Life
The Cafeteria and Night canteen are opened till 2 am there are no in timming for hostels Hangout places are generally near the sports ground the Food outlet that are present in bits goa are Moginis Gajalaxmi Red Chillies Subspot
