Only the 75% attendance should be removed as we can't skip the classes for that reason. That's the only remark from my side.

The course curriculum is fantastic as compared to other colleges. There are various modules for each subject. There is a separate course for speaking skills. As per research, there are many Phd scholars who do research in various fields. There are industrial trips which help students understand the application of various machines.

Companies like Google, Amazon, L&T, and many more have visited our college as their placement drives. Coming to my course, Mechanical department was started 2 years ago in NIT GOA so there haven't been any placements yet. Other courses like CSE have seen somewhat around 90%placement record last year. Also the branches of EEE and ECE hold a good record. There are placement training programs conducted by our college every year.

SAAVYAS is the techno cultural fest conducted every year. This year we had a 3 day grand fest in the college campus in which we invited many colleges to take part in our events. There are big events like •robowars •robo soccer •drone prix •dj night(this time we invited DJ SHAAN) and many more events were there

The fee structure is different for different categories like its different for •SC and ST students •DASA students •General category There aren't any additional fees for admission. The fee breakdown is transparent. Mode of payments accepted are: •Cheque •DD •Online payment

Yes I opted for education loan thourough Vidyalakshmi portal by Government of India. Thourough it I took loan from SBI bank at 8.65 rate of interest. I took a loan for the total 4 years which summed up to approx 8 lacs

Gender ratio is 5:1 So the campus life is awesome. It's so cool that in the first year itself i got my girlfriend. There are a lot of workshops conducted: •Mechanical •Coding •Hackathon •Arduino Sports are conducted annually. Debate competitions are conducted for various languages. There are various students with different religion, caste, mother tongue, economic status but we all stay in harmony and we all are one family which makes us United.

Yes, I opted for hostel facility. The hostel rooms are shared among 3 students each. The facilities are: •24x7 wifi and water •Transport from hostel to college via bus. •Daily cleaning of rooms are done. •There is mess facility available in the hostel itself. There are 3 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls.

There's very good alumni network. The seniors are very helpful. They clear all our doubts and help us in every situation. They even give us many opportunities.

I first cleared JEE Mains entrance exam and got 32180 All India rank and then on applying in JOSAA seat allocation authority, I was allotted Btech in Mechanical Engineering at NIT GOA. I gave the JEE exam in the months of JANUARY and APRIL. The results were announced within one weak as this was an online exam. The JOSAA Seat Allocation began from July. Then from August the rounds of allocation began. It lasted for approximately one month. Then we were supposed to report at the college for admission process. After all this, I got admission in NIT GOA in the department of Mechanical Engineering. I opted Mechanical because I'm interested in robotics and also i thought that being in a core branch could help me get placed in an IT company if I know coding along with my mechanical syllabus. The reason why i chose NIT GOA are: •It's NIRF ranking was 87 in 2019 •Goa was nearer to my hometown Silvassa So these are the reasons why i chose Mechanical Engineering in NIT GOA.

I'm in the first year btech mechanical engineering. There are around 10 teachers for 150 students who teach us our courses. Many of the teachers have done their Phd in their respective fields. The facility is very helpful as they clear our each and every doubt. Some teachers in the Mechanical and Civil departments even have industrial experience in their fields.
