All about NIT Goa

Food in the hostel is not up to the mark, along with limited hostel facilities.

Course is of 4 years, consisting of 2 semesters per year. Each semester has end semester exam carryiny 50% of the total GPA, mid semester exam carrying 25%, and internal exams like class test or presentations carrying 25% of the total gpa. In addition our faculty encourages to develop miNo,r projects by providing necessary funding and reffering to leading institutions for internship opportunities. Our department has a special students authority called the TESLA thourough which we can share our thoughts and knowledge with others along with having some field visits.

Placements are pretty good here for all braches. Almost 90% students will be placed every year with 6. 5 as mean packege. Placement sessions goes on year round for final year students.

Annual techno-cultural fest called the SAAVYAS will be held in the month of march every year. Following with some kind of pre events in the month of january and february. The is an active participation from the local colleges, which gives us pleasure of engaging in the fest.

Tution fee foe each semester will be 62, 000 rupees and hostel fee will be around 28, 000 rupees. Which can be paid thourough almost all of the online payment methods. As per MhourD rules, people whose family annual income will be less than 1 lakh can have their full fee waived, alon with 2/3 rd of the fee waived for people whose family annual income will be in between 1 to 5 lakhs.

No, scholarship will be offered within our institution, but can avial other scholarships from outside.

As its in Goa, climate is awesome, and so in the campus. Gender ratio is around 1:5, which shows a huge demand for what you are thinking of. Extra curricular activities includes batminton, basketball and volley ball courts for outdoor sports. Chess, carroms and table tennis for indoor games provided in sports room.

As it is opereting from temprory campus hostel facility will be provided for only ug students with limited facilities. For like people persuing pg courses have to stay in pg outside the campus whose rental per person costs 3, 000 excluding electricity and water bills.

As of Now there isn't any alumini association. So we aren't aware of our alumini well. As it is a ragging free campus senior will be good with us.

12 th passed from PCM, have to give jee main which will be conducted in month of aprril 1st week. Concelling will be done by Josaa and seats will be filled in accordence to rank obtained. EEE is vast subject to continue your research on different electronics. Nit Goa has the best teaching faculty specially from EEE department.

As of Now Nit Goa has around 20 faculty members from EEE department, with average age of around of 45, with pretty good teaching experience. Almost all facult have done their PG from top most reputated institutions like the IISC, IITs and few NITs. Our lectures are free to talk and very helpful academically. They even take class committe meeting twice a semester to enhance the teacher student atmosphere.
