The juniors seniors Relationship is quite impressive here.

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not too good ,maintainance is not very good.
Hostel food is not good ,the food quality is not good.
Girls hostel room is not big each of room 4 students are alloted

Actually, I have an interest in this course so I am admitted here, The Faculty is very good here Available professors are there. There are mid-term exams, end-term exams, and Practicals exams for each of the subjects Term exam for 50 marks midterm for 20 marks, and Practicals for 30 marks.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total 1 yr fees required for this course nearly 14000. Students can apply for the swami vivekananda scholarship after admission. There is no campus after a BSC degree. Students can take competitive exams after Bsc.

Campus Life

Every year nabarun (Freshers welcome) happens here. The annual cultural fest also takes place here. The fests and programs are held with pomp. A good library is there. A huge no of books is available for each Agriculture Horticulture and ag-related topics. Annual spots are also conducted every year.

Admission

The admission is based on board marks basically Also few seats are reserved for Bsc Ag degree for the ICAR exam, conducted all India Basically. After the HS ICAR exam is conducted, students also can be admitted to BCKV through this process.

I chose this subject because competition for job in this sector is not so high. It's easy to get a job after complete this course. As I say earlier semester examinations are the main examination. The examination is not so hard.

Something is better than nothing

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
