Good Behaviour of some faculties. They are very supporting .

Dislikes

Very bad Behaviour of management members including Vice Chairman.
Bad quality of food which provided for hostelrs.
No-one faculty is available for sports in this college. There is no industrial tour provided by management but the collect fees for tour in every semester.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE because nowadays there are huge demands for this course with the highest package. In every subject only one faculty is good otherwise all are very poor in teaching. Exams are held on time but it is tough to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Very less companies come for internships in this college. Students get internships by themselves. They apply to many companies for internships and get it. But the college effort is very less for internships.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Maximum companies are start-up companies come in this college. The package is very average offered by these companies. 60 to 70 percent of students get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many policies and opportunities for scholarships and there is a Bihar Creadite card facility is also available fo Bihar students. There are total fees of CSE is 384000 for 4 years and 62300 per year for a hostel.

Campus Life

2nd biggest fest in Kolkata is held in BBIT college the name is 'MAGNUS'. There is a good library available on campus with a very good environment. All outdoor games are available but not any indoor games are available in this college.

Hostel Facilities

There are good facilities available in this college. There are 3 wardens and 6 guards for the hostel only. very easy process for registration in the hostel. And hostel fees are also affordable for anyone I think. There are lots of PG are available from outside of the college.

Admission

I meeting the cutoff have to register for IIT JEE MAINs counseling and give preference to Budge Budge Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Seats are allocated to me on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test, preference filled, and availability of seats. I selected finally have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

At JGEC,campus placements begin mostly from the 6th/final year semester,when students become eligible .I recent years many well-known companies have visited such as Pinnacle Infotech,Synnova Gears & Transmissions Pvt.Ltd,,TCS,Jyesta corporate Entity and many more.The highest package was around 54 LPA form Google ,While the overall average is 10.2LPA.Many students also take internships, industrial training or prepare for higher studies(GATE) rather than accepting direct placement immediately.The exact percentage of student getting palcement is no where.But last year the percentage placed is 70%.
