Course Curriculum Overview

I Choose the ICE branch because I have an interest in circuits and also I have a goal in control engineering. The faculty members are very good. The student-teacher ratio of our college is 20:1.Qualification of the faculty is Ph.D. from CFTI. The teaching method is quite good. It's quite difficult to pass but interest matters.

From the 7th sem, students are eligible for campus placements. if no campus placements are offered then off-campus placements or govt jobs or new startups we can do. From Amazon, 45lpa is the highest and the average is 7lpa from reliance. 100% of students getting placements in nitj.

Fees and Financial Aid

Comparatively on other nit's the fee structure is more in nitjalandhar. The name of the scholarship for SC/ST students is the national scholarship portal. job opportunities are good if we have better skills . Otherwise, we don't think about the job.

Campus Life

Bharat dwani on 17th Oct and TECHNITI15th March. All institute-related books are available in the library. All branch-related laboratories are available.SPORTS like cricket, volleyball, etc. clubs like prayers, artists, etc.

Admission

The admission process at nitjalandhar is good. The admission process is held through an entrance test (JEE Mains). Yes, I appeared JEE mains entrance exam. JEE registration, Fill out application form, Upload Documents, Application fee, JEE admit card, JEE main exam, declaration of results, Special round (CSAB). cutoff of the st category is 34.5 in 2023.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
