Remarks

The college is good , affordable but the academics is not satisfactory at all. There are lots of the improvement required on urgent to improve the quality of education.

Entrance Preview

JEE was our entrance exam. There wasn't any Interview. The course I am in is due to interest in Infrastructure. The college has good fee structure it is affordable

Course Curriculum Overview

It just satisfactory there is no special efforts from Institute. The labs are not equipped properly. There is no research initiatives from the institute. Course I chose is best in our college with compare to other department. There is no plan for future of the institute. Also the part practical learning is missing from the academics. But the labs don't have enough equipment also the equipment are not in working condition at all.

Internships Opportunities

College does not provide any kind of Internship. There is no stipend given by the college to any one. Also there is no future plan of college to include the internship in academics

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is moderate but it is less for Civil Department. The Maximum placement is observed in Computer Engineering

College Events

The Technical event are carried in the various time of the year. Cultural events are also good but the participation of the student is less.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee for Open category is between 75000 to 80000. Fee is affordable with compare to the other colleges in city. The fee for various backward categories is between 2000 to 8000 approx.

Faculty

The some of the faculty are really interactive and qualified but no. is very less. The standard of the teaching is not satisfactory at all. The teaching have a lot of room for improvement. Also there are some faculty who are doing really doing great but no. must be increased soon.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. My experience of iiit pune

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.

Honest Opinions

I have taken admission by qualifying the cet exam by 93 pecentile . The college gives admission through cet exams. The admission process is through CAP round if ur score is above 93 for girls and for boys the cut off is around 94 percentile and reduces according to category. If ur alloted with the college u have to pay full fees alloted to your category if you dont have the required category documents you will have to pay the full fees at the time of admissions .
