A journey worth sharing

The college was good from every aspect.There was a strict schedule of classes and exams.Playing sessions composed of football and cricked matches between students of all standards,table tennis matches.Interesting lab sessions.

I have scored a good rank in the WBJEE exam in engineering which has allowed me to study in this college. My stream was Mechanical Engineering. No Interview Process was followed.I chose this course as I had a good confidence of my basic knowledge of mechanics and I liked that subject to a great extent.

It was a very good course which was full of theoretical and practical learning to the same extent. Each and every theoretical chapter was backed up well by Practical workings in the laboratories.There are a good number of elective subjects, most of them are interesting.

Internships were held at good companies like oracle,hcl,etc for cse,raymonds for tcs,vizag steel plant,durgapur steel for ME.The experiences were very good.Got to know about new and advanced learning.

The placement scenario was good.A good number of students got placed.Companies like Oracle,Wipro,Fushion Charts,TCS,Tech Mahindra,etc. visited the campus.

There was annual cultural fests inside the college,followed by celebration of saraswati and biswakarma pujas.

There is process of paying fees at the beginning of each semester exam..ranging from 4000 to 8000 for the general students.

Extracurricular activities were mostly displayed in the annual fests and there were quiz and debate competitions also which were very exciting.

I wasn't a hostel boarder.But as far as I am concerned,the rooms were spacious and shared by two or three students depending on the space.No there was no system of PGs and I don't know about the fee structure of the hostels.

They were neither frequent nor there was a chill culture.There was a system of weekly class tests and an internal exam after the end of every two months followed by a semester exam at the end of every 6 months.

The faculties were very much experienced and qualified,very much interactive.They gave homework regularly and discussed about the problems up to the ultimate limit.There was a system of weekly class tests which was good for the students to complete their courses early which decreased their stresses before the final exams.
