Mess food is not what i did wish for although it is healthy and all but taste is most student's first priority.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose chemical engineering first as my course but I was not happy with it as the job vacancies in that area were limited and not what I dreamed of. So, I changed my branch to electrical engineering through the branch change program held by my institute as it is a more technical branch and one is eligible to give interviews at companies like Google, Microsoft etc. Faculty: student ratio is quite fine every subject has at least one proff and they are very well in their teaching method if we leave some exceptions aside. There is one mte and one ete in each semester and quizzes are here and there. I would say that term exams are quite balanced.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure includes the hostel and mess fees along with tuition fees and some random areas. the fee hike is there but that is not comparable to the original fee. the fee is around 150000 rupees only for one semester however, one can get a tuition fee waiver if his family income is below a certain threshold. The is scsp portal to guide students in taking scholarships.

Campus Life

There are two types of annual fest on my campus. One is technical and one is cultural. Thomso is the national-level famous cultural fest and is known as probably one of the most famous fests in Asia is our pride. Congizence is our technical fest where many interesting techs, robots, drones etc have their exhibition. Our campus has one library Mahatma Gandhi Central Library which is filled with so many books, it has 3 floors, it is air conditioned with so much sitting area.

Admission

I gave Jee main and Jee advanced in order to be eligible to take admission to my institute. the registration fees to give these exams were around 500 and 2000 respectively. I lie in the Other Backward category. I think that so many students were facing technical issues while they were giving jee advanced exams like zoomed-in problems. These issues should be taken care of.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. 1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
