I enjoyed the course curriculum which was actually very interesting.
All the four years were very interesting and challenging at the same time with new learning of life
The campus environment was good which not only helped me to grow into career even enhanced my body language and personality.

Dislikes

I was actually little disappointed because I didn't get any campus placement
The lab experience could be enhanced in much better manner
since my campus was new so external opportunity was very less over there

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I was having a lot of interest in mechanical science. The faculty-to-student ratio was 1: 35. Most of the teachers was Ph.D. holder and industry expert and the teaching method was more practical and realistic. Term exams used to conduct twice a year, and I successfully Passed all semester exams without any backlog.

Internships Opportunities

I have done my internship at HAL Bangeluru in the overhaul Dept. with a stipend of 12000. I was working on a structural analysis of a hexacopter and the outcome is to find the structural strength of the aerodynamic structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no such fee hike policy in the span of 4 years since I was not from Karnataka so I was not eligible for any scholarship. There was no such campus placement for my Dept. I got the opportunity of an internship at HAL in the overhaul dept. of Advance Light Helicopter Division (ALH).

Campus Life

Annual Fest was Spartan which used to conduct every year in the month of Feb, tech fest name of my dept. was Vaayu which used to conduct in the month of May every year. The library was very huge, full of all kinds of books and journals. The classroom was equipped with a projector and AC and other important amenities.

Admission

Students need to be secured at least 70% marks in 10+2. I got into this college through KCET, an application used appeared in the month of Oct to Nov, the application fee was 500 and we can get this from KCET's official website. It can be better if the opportunity will be same for other state students as well.

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
