Course Curriculum Overview

This course is a subsidiary of mechanical engineering. Those who are not able to get mechanical can pursue this branch. The student-faculty ratio is 10:1. Every professor here was a Ph.D. graduate and they will teach through ppts and also using Blackboard. There will be one mid-semester and one end-semester.

the companies visited here are Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Honda, Mahindra, reliance pvt. ltd., Flipkart, sparkle, tata motors, Samsung, etc., and the role offered are sde, graduate engineer, and full stack developer.

Placement Experience

From the 3rd year, you are eligible to sit for campus placements and the placements here are good for CS, IT, and ECE and for the rest average package is around 8 lakhs per annum. You can even opt for higher studies through college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee depends on the category if you have an income certificate below one lakh you will get tuition fee reimbursement and if it is between 1-5 lakh, you will 75% fee reimbursement and you can get several scholarships by applying for them on time and a single person can get an only scholarship.

Campus Life

There will be two fests one is Utkansh which is the college's annual fest and another one is techniti which is the college technical fest. We have a library which is available 24/7. There big playground and different sports clubs and one can join those if interested.

Hostel Facilities

In the first year, you will be alloted in bh1,2,3 which are isolated from the other hostels, and from the second year you will be alloted in mega boys hostels and the food here is decent and you get non-veg two times a week.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

At the time of admission, there are two counseling processes one is josaa and another one is csab for the first counseling we need to pay 35000 for the seat reservation, and for the next one we need to pay 40000 which will be refunded after taking the institute fee at the time of admission. If you have a reservation you will get benefitted and easily get into a decent branch and can get decent placement at the end.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

NIT JALANDHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
