I have opted computer science and engineering course because I like to do computer science and also I like coding and want to go to product-based companies like amazon and all and the faculty of the nit Jalandhar is very good and all the teachers are very well qualified and all were very helpful and my best teacher is Shefali Arora mam that teaches me the data structure and algorithms subject.

Class Size: 166Course Fees: INR 240000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the nit jalandhar is about 240000 for the year for the general student and for the students whose family income is above 5 lahks and for the students whose income is less than 5 lacs there is a 1/3 regression and three is a good opportunity of placement but less opportunity of scholarship.

Campus Life

The fest held in our college is the Utakansh and Techniti which is the best fest of the college the Utkansh will be held in March time but Techniti will be held in February time and Techniti is the technical fest and Utkansh is the cultural fest.

Admission

I have given the joint entrance test exam and then I got a good percentile then I fill the josaa counseling and give my preferences for the course and the college that I want to get and then if I get the seat in any 6 rounds of the josaa then I have to pay the seat acceptable fees and then I have to go to the csab round of jee mains and I got the vacant seats of that and finally I got the seat and pay the seat acceptable fees.

A student's perspective for his college

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
