Campus is too much interactive. The main building of iit roorkee is so charming.
Some faculty members they are too interactive with students

Dislikes

Labs not all but some of them is look like "khandr"
Hostel rooms is too small but its triple sharing

Course Curriculum Overview

When am cleared the exam at that time I did have not much knowledge but now am Interested in machines and want to know and learning about circuits and machines. All the courses are interesting in this field. All the faculty members are really good and very interactive with students.

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 73000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If we talk about the fee structure then the fee is 73 or 74k per year but it's according to the first year. The college also gives us the opportunity of scholarships like the kanya kotak scholarship and MCM scholarship in which all the fees we'd paid are returned back to us

Campus Life

Campus life is too good and too much interesting. Many things we have learnt after coming to the campus. The study is imp but there is a no of the fest that fests making our campus life too much brighter like thomso, cognizance, bhawan day and many more. On the other hand, a lot of groups, and clubs are there like the tech clubs of EESS.

Admission

Yeah, there are two entrance tests one jee mains and another jee advance. By cracking these exams am eligible to get admission to IIT Roorkee. Fees and all other details we can be found on the official website of iitr. The process is not different for the reversed category but there are fewer fees and fewer marks required for reversed category students.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Geu provides best intenrships!

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

GEU has the best Placements!

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
