Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as this was the best option with the best NIT which I could get according to my rank. And I had some interest in mechanical as a branch also and my NIT Jalandhar also comes in top. The faculty is really and also very supportive to us.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 88000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is almost the same which is the same for all the NIT systems in the country. General category student has to pay 88000 as tuition fees and 25500 as hostel and mess fee per semester. And of course, fees are okay not less not more.

Campus Life

The campus life is almost average which I can say on comparing with private colleges. There are two fests yearly one is Techniti the technical fest other is Utkansh the cultural fest. The fests are quite bad.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fee is 25500 per semester. For registration either one of the roommates should be present for registration. The rooms are quite small for two people and the mess food quality is quite bad for the person.

Admission

In 2021 when I cleared jee mains I secured a 28000 rank. So being a general category student I thought of looking for NIT in Josaaa counseling. After looking at the previous year cutoff I listed out the NITs and their branches that I might get.

A student's perspective for his college

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
