Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical was the only circuital branch I got in a top college and it's interesting. The faculties are highly qualified although we have to study pretty much all the courses by ourselves. Ours was a compressed semester of 1.5 months but later on, it extended to 3 months.

Class Size: 170Course Fees: INR 143000 per year

Placement Experience

From 2nd year students are eligible for internships and there are many opportunities for girls. Google, Microsoft, and many others. Almost all students are placed. My plans are to get a good job with high money.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are much lower than the private colleges hence it has its down factors like satisfactory food and adequate room facilities. Many scholarships are available and are available for every semester and the student must also be one of the toppers in his class.

Campus Life

There is one cultural fest that is Thomson which is held in Oct and another technical fest Which is cognizance, both are much anticipated. Library has a vast collection of books including both in online and offline form. Every classroom has cooling systems so not much problem there.

Hostel Facilities

No central cooling system is there. Internet is accessible through lan only as wifi is very weak. Meal quality is very poor although its fees are high. The locality is good since it's near many other canteens.

Hostel Fee: INR 5000 per year

Admission

Need to qualify to jee advance and jee mains. Min. 75% in 12th boards cbse. Application form on jee website. Reservation will help in getting a better branch under the same marks. Document verification could be more smooth.

GEU and CSE ho hand in hand!

Placement Experience:

LTI, Polaris, Deloitte, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia and what not are there for placements here. Even the Fintech and finance companies like the Axis Bank, Shri Ram Capital Finance and all are here. Thus, placements worth 10-50 lakhs is quite possible at GEU.

Placement Experience:

In GEU placements are like such that we don't have to bother at all. We are approached by placements cell in the 5th semester and then are trained for the whole month and then university urges us to go for internships to have the required exposure and have a CV which can impress the recruiters first hand. Thus, we get placement which median as of now is 8.5 lakhs.

Placement Experience:

McKinsey, Oracle, NVIDIA, Google, TCS, Deloitte and many more come here for placements. Around 15-20 students in 2025 had placements worth over 40 lakhs and four students managed to grab placements worth 50 lakhs or more.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. 1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
