DR BR Ambedkar National institute of technology Jalandhar [NIT JALANDHAR] review

I choose this course because NIT JALANDHAR is a government-reputed college. And generally, students want to take admitted here for getting placed in MNCs. So I also chose this course for exploring and enhancing my skills within the environment of such a reputed college. Talking about the student ratio, generally in every branch girls to boys ratio is 1:4. Now let's talk about faculty so the way of delivering content to the professors is superb, not only in academics even if you learn a lot about the extra curriculum. All the professors graduated from IITs, NITs. so they have an experience in btech student lifestyle. But some faculty are rude also. Currently exam system has been changed earlier we have to give 2 minors and 1major exam to clear the semester but now only one mid sem and one end sem exam are there.

Companies like Amazon, Google etc. Provide internships for college students and provide a stipend of 25000/month. And projects provided can vary according to student's interests and the field in which they have applied.

Generally, students start getting internships in their 5th semester and after the 6th semester companies visit for campus placement. Companies like Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Microsoft, byjus etc. Every year visits the campus for hiring students. The highest package provided by Microsoft was 62lpa and the average package provided is 15lpa. Every year approx 80% of students get placement in core companies.

The fee structure can vary according to the category of students and income. The tuition fees for the ST, SC category students and students having income less than 1 lac is totally free. They have to only pay for their hostel facility and mess facilities. That is 25000 for the mess and 25000 for the hostel and other facilities like medical, sports, gym, library etc. For students having income between 1 to 5 lac, they have to pay 80k approx for a semester. Above 5 lac it is approximately 1,25,000 per semester. Talking about scholarships college does not provide any kind of scholarship but you can apply for many government schemes like NSP and many State wise scholarship schemes.

The annual fest of our college is UTKANSH, which is generally celebrated in the month of March. And the tech fest of our college is TECHNITI, which is generally organised in the month of October but this time technician was conducted in the month of January. For book availability, campus has a big library named a central library. Classrooms are well and good, for teaching each lecture theatre has a blackboard, projector and online tv system. Our campus has a sufficiently large cricket ground and basketball, badminton, football, and volleyball courts. The table tennis court is also there. For exploring social life our campus has many societies and clubs like a dramatic club, singing, dancing, acting, content writing etc. Clubs.

After passing the 10th board, I started preparing for jee mains/advance for 2 years. For applying for the jee mains you must have above 75% in the 12th board's exam. So I applied with the 12th class in jee mains and generally in the month of January exam is conducted. So I got the Air rank of 45k and the category rank(Gen Ews) was 6k. Then I applied for counselling process conducted by Josaa, in that six rounds were there. So after the counselling, I got admission to NIT Jalandhar civil engineering.
