But no recognition of medical long leave issues and no value for medical certificates for reason for leave in first year mainly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The first year is equal for all. Here ECE is a famous course. Faculty are good at teaching subjects. the first year was strict here. you should maintain some discipline. Teachers' friendly nature. Until you are close to them.

Here on campus, placements and internships are good levels. here they give good training for students for jobs. Every year they are trying to improve their standards. according to my opinion, it was somewhat good only and positive thing in this institute.

Placement Experience

Our campus is best for placements. Top branches get good placement. But lower branches are also getting good but compared to less than cs,ece, IT. The here minor degree is provided to learn the remaining branches' main 6 subjects. Which helps to get placement in other branch jobs. My opinion is it depends on us about placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have an OBC reservation. My institute fee per semester is 25,000 and my hostel fee per semester is 25,000. here you can apply for an NSP scholarship. I think it was a better fee structure for us compared to private colleges.

Campus Life

Campus life is best with friends. here you can enjoy a lot with your friends. But in the first year, some restrictions are there because for your safety. Here they are lots of clubs to join. You can join whatever club you like.

Hostel Facilities

In the first year, hostels are average according to my opinion. Mega hostels are good compared to first-year hostels. in the first year, they are some restrictions on you. for Room 4 members in the first year. Same-state students are allotted one room remaining two are in different states. From the second year for room 2, .you choose your room partner,

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

For entering into NITJ you should write JEE mains exam. It was in the top 10 nits according to Nirf ranking this year. For top branches, you should score 99 percentile if no reservation. For OBC crl 10k for boys.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
