Exploration of NITJ through honest review

The course curriculum is a bit old and needs to be modified from time to time. I'm interested in Coding and programming so I chose the CSE branch. being a CSE student I'll have many opportunities related to internships and placements and I'll deal with real-life problems that will make me think critically. The student and faculty ratio is 166:23 means 23 faculty for 166 students of cse.

Internships opportunity is not more here. few companies visit for on-campus internships. For a summer internship of 2 months, only 3 companies visited and more than 29 students were selected for it. During Covid time internships were on boom but now it's declining. The stipend depends on the company but usually, a minimum of 40k and max 1.25 lac stipend is offered for 2 months internship.

Placements are good at NITJ. Students in the 4th year i.e. 7th semester become eligible for placements. Many good companies visit our campus for placements. Some of them are Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, American Express, Samsung, Salesforces, Accenture, cognizant, Oracle, Capgemini, etc.

The fee structure is broken down into three parts. i) having an income less than 1 lac one has to pay zero tuition fee. ii) having an income of more than 1 lac but less than 5 lac one has to pay 1/3 tuition fee. iii) having an income of more than 5 lac, one has to pay full tuition fees.d and sp. yes, there are various scholarship options at Nitj. These can be based on academic performance or merit-base ports based. We have a dedicated section i.e. scholarship sections for this. Some alumni of NITJ provide financial assistance too for needy students.

We at Nitj students enjoy every fest and occasion with joy and fun. The annual fest of NIT J is "utkansh" which is held in March month and it's the north's biggest fest. This year 2023 singers like Ninja were invited and many performances were made by our students and other college students. The Annual tech fest is "TechNITI" which is held in Feb month and it has emerged as the biggest tech fest in the North.

In the room, the facilities provided are beds, 1 chair, 1 table and mirror, 1 fan, and other electric items possession and use are prohibited. We have two types of hostels for boys and girls. Boys have a Boys hostel for first-year students which has accommodation of 4 while in the mega boys hostel, 2 seaters rooms are given. Same for girls they have 1 seater, 2 seater, and 4 seater rooms. Registration is done online through google forms for 2nd to 4th-year students but for first-year students, rooms are allowed during the physical reporting process. The hostel rent is 8.5k for a semester but we have to pay extra charges for medical, library, and exam fees so it costs a total of 25k per semester. yes, one can get a rented room in Maqsuda.

There are some top colleges for engineering run by central and state governments i.e. IITs, NIT's GFTI and for getting admission into these colleges students have to give JEE MAINS ( joint entrance exam ). Those who qualify get admission to these institutes. For getting CSE in Nitj you have to score 99+ percentile. And for home state quota students you have to score a minimum of 96.5+ percentile. If you want CSE then you should have a good understanding of maths.
