campus building and hostel facility is good .
campus greenery attracts much. and campus looks more beautifil
placement statics is good enough . and extra clubs and activities apart from study.

Dislikes

attendence required is more than 75 percent .
schedule is quite hectic havings classes from morning and labs in evening .
sometimes teachers marking is also not likable .

Course Curriculum Overview

The course depends on our preference in jossa rounds. The faculty of our course is good and all the teachers are well educated. Most of the teachers had done their MTech and Ph.D. from IITs, whereas we talk about exams. in the one-semester mid sem exam o30 marks and end sem 40 marks will be conducted and 20 for assignments.

Class Size: 91Course Fees: INR 176000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Most of the internship companies come from non-core branches like - CS, IT, ECE, EE, and ICE for core branches internship offers are very less students have to see the intern offer off campus. And stipend intern offers are very very less.

Placement Experience

The students become eligible for the campus placement from the end of the 3rd year means from the end of the 6th semester students become eligible and placements on go till the last of the 8th semester. In CSE 90+ percent of students got placements. whereas in core branches also 70-80 percent of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

For open category means without any reservation it costs nearly about 9lakh for a complete course it including mess charges, college fees and all other. And depending on other categories and income. If the family's annual income is less than 1 lakh then only the tuition fee for that student will be zero. And other charges will apply like hostel rent other charges and mess fees.

Campus Life

The campus life is good. Many of the events occur in February - athletic fest and techniti take place both of these fests are really enjoyful. In March utkansh is there which is the cultural fest of the college and is managed by the team cultural affairs.

Hostel Facilities

In girls' hostel rooms are very much spacious each room consists of 2 beds, 2 almirahs with mirrors in it, and a small balcony, which has a beautiful view of our campus. meal quality is also fine not so good but not so bad too.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of BTech depends on jee percentile/rank. reservation is also done based on category. And some seat quota is based on the home state and other states. the admission process is complete based on jossa and csab rounds.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
