Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is totally designed by the HOD of each department, it might be different for each department. As I chose biotechnology because the percentile I got was not enough to get other branches. Two minors and one end-semester exam are taken an intervals of 1-2 months. As it is an autonomous institute all are performed by the authorities of the institute only, no intervention of outsiders is entertained here.
Placement Experience
The placement is really excellent here, CS, and IT enjoy so a beautiful placement. Other branches are also having very good placement scenarios. The average package of this institute is nearly 12 Lpa. Generally, 50-60% of students do eligible for interviews.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some slabs of the economy of your guardian, it is categorised as 1 lakh, 1-5 lakh, more than 5 lakh. On that basis fees of students adhered to which the individuals fall. Tuition fees are zero for students who fall in the first category. RS 85000 for the students who fall in the 3rd category. Many kinds of scholarships are given to students on the basis of their skills.
Campus Life
You will come across many clubs here, students participate accordingly, zeal society is one of the clubs here where students prepare for communication skills. Campus life is typically good here, you will enjoy doing everything here freely. The library is not open daily for students it usually but you will find many books and journals here, students can carry the same using their library card.
Hostel Facilities
As there are many hostels here, Hostels are allotted to the students based on which year they are in. Facilities also differ accordingly but as a whole Nitj's hostel is very good, mess's food is acceptable too. You won't feel that you are eating outside food. Hygiene is excellent here.
Admission
JEE mains is the exam through which admission is processed, students have to grab percentile in this exam more than the cut-off. The cut-off is not the same for each category, it varies according to the reservation.
