Course Curriculum Overview

My course is CSE. Every engineering student wants the branch of CSE. NIT J provides good faculty with the teacher having their PHD degree and research in many CS subjects. The faculties are good. They will also support you in your better development. nTeacher teaches us using multimedia or PPTs. Exams are now conducted with 30 marks one minor 50 marks major and 20 marks with your teacher who will give marks upon your attendance, quizzes too.

Class Size: 84Course Fees: INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies that offer internships are Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Flipkart, Adobe, Oracle, Uber, Ola, BPCL, Goldman Sachs, nine laps, aspect ratio, increff, Texas Instrument, byjus, paytm, Tesco, olx, Samsung, event and many more

Placement Experience

From the 5th semester, students start getting internship offers even microsoft, and Amazon also offers too. The highest package was around 72 lakh per annum on campus last year and for off campus, it crosses 1 crore too. The percentage of placement is 95% above for CSE students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are being taken according to the income of your family. So if you are from poor background there is no tension as fees can be deducted and the college provides scholarship too. Well mine fees were 115000 almost(88000 tution fee+ 25000 mess&hostel fee) per semester so for 1 year it's 2*115000=230000..

Campus Life

Some annual fest are TECHNITTI and the cultural fest is UTKANSH. NIT J also has a library and provides many journals and books of various author too. The classroom has a projector, AC sanctioned, With a smart TV, green board and good bench and desk facility. There are many various clubs like Netra, GDSC, and many more you can check it from the NIT website..

Admission

an NIT the admission process for the BTECH course is mainly done by JOSAA. Slowly and slowly Josaa will help you with your admission process there is also a college website where under student corner you can get information on all the stages of the admission process without actually going there. And it helps me a lot while my admission process.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
