Remarks

Yes college is not good so I would suggest to other students to not choose because they will get only Degree but no placement and also no knowledge.

Entrance Preview

I just gave wbjee exam and after online counseling I got this college and I went to visit college with my brother via train and they didn't ask anything like interview and I just choose computer science as I had knowledge of that some so I thought I will do well.

Course Curriculum Overview

My computer science and engineering course is an amazing and always give opportunity to learn new things and programming is a one of the key to learn in this field and you need to take training to get expertise in practical.

Internships Opportunities

No our college didn't provide any internship but in fourth year of our study they only organise one training program and this training last for 3 month and apart from this college doesn't provide any stipend.

Placement Experience

At the time of college joining on 2012 ,our college has good placement and so that lots of students taken admission and after that placement gone down and Hinduja are the main company that come for placement and they provide us 4.5 lakhs package on average.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees of my college I would say was normal and they charge 38 000 thousands per semester for tuition fee and 20000 rupees for hostel charge and they has been also increment in tuition fee per year by 1000 rupees.

Hostel Facilities

First year hostel was outside of college campus but when we came to 2nd year our campus comes into the college campus and rooms are well arranged and each room has two students and we all have to pay 20000 thousands for each semester and food of the hostel is average and if u like non veg you will enjoy our hostel.

Exam Structure

Exam are frequently occurs and every semester has two unit test and with final semester exam that has been conducted by university and lab exam were very exciting we all always enjoy group work and that's make our lab exam so exciting.

Faculty

Faculty of my college at the start of college life were very experienced and taught all subject in a magical way but unfortunately with time some new faculty come they didn't fit to college syllabus lack of experience and that's made standard of college teaching little down.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

Almost 100% of the students can get placements if they study well and learn well. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. You can also take admission through wbjee and it's mandatory to eligible to take admission. Exams are all conducted by makaut and this is the most irrespective and stupid conducters of semester as they doesn't maintain 6months gap for semester vast amount of syllabus less time and they don't have any weightage of chapters just they ask questions from anywhere from where they wish and this lead to less marks for students but they are very strict as every classes have cctv cameras installed there itself....Read More

The experience of IMPS College of Engineering and Technology

The application process was basically WBJEE and the seats were alloted by the counselling process that was held centrally by the WBUT. After confirming the seat in the counselling process then a recomendation letter was issued and that letter was presented to the college and basis of that admission was given.
