Entrance Preview

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations, I got 10000 rank over there and in the counseling time I took IMPS college for admission.

Internships Opportunities

No, our college does not provide internship. I was passed out 2009 batch on that time there has only 4 stream and nowhere has internship courses.

Placement Experience

Placement was very poor, MNC companies were not visited in our college on that time, but few MNC like Infosys, satyam off compassing had been arranged on that time, but normally maximum fake companies were visited on that time 90 % fake companies. I also cracked 2 companies but both were fake at the end.

College Events

Our college are very much involved in cultural program. Every year 2 times cultural program has been organised. One is for freshers party and another is fest party. In fest party celebrities singer or band would come on that time and we enjoyed very much on that time.

Fees and Financial Aid

No we did not take any loan or scholarship on that time. Our college is not much more facilities over there. management was not perfect for our college, that's why growth was not incremented.

Exam Structure

Exam structure were very good, normally our faculties are very stricked as a guard, Outside faculties were come everyday in our semester . Our labs structure were quite good and also faculties are very good. Currently don't know how is our teaches and faculties.

Faculty was very good and friendly, normally M.tech students are qualified for B.tech faculty. I have selected Information Technology stream. After that I have to submit admission money and august first week I started college in IMPS in 2009. I do not know much more.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Placement Experience:

This college provides best jobs opportunity for every students buts for internships eligibility is from the 3 year and mainy focus on 4th year students to be part of the internships . Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

You can also take admission through wbjee and it's mandatory to eligible to take admission. Exams are all conducted by makaut and this is the most irrespective and stupid conducters of semester as they doesn't maintain 6months gap for semester vast amount of syllabus less time and they don't have any weightage of chapters just they ask questions from anywhere from where they wish and this lead to less marks for students but they are very strict as every classes have cctv cameras installed there itself....Read More

The experience of IMPS College of Engineering and Technology

The application process was basically WBJEE and the seats were alloted by the counselling process that was held centrally by the WBUT. After confirming the seat in the counselling process then a recomendation letter was issued and that letter was presented to the college and basis of that admission was given.
