The infrastructure is beautiful, very close to CP, India gate. Centrally located. The accommodation is cheap. The fees are reasonable. The people are way too competitive, the thing I don't like personally. Then there are tests and tests, the schedule is very tight. Don't have much social life. You have to read a lot, which is the most boring part of this course.

AIPMT, it depends on your rank, try to be below 1000 all India rank. No interview was taken. All certificates have to be deposited and a bond has to signed. The bond says that during your course of MBBS you won't leave the course anywhere in between. You sign it with the government of India. I chose this course because I felt that I should be adventurous enough to try something new.

If you have an interest in understanding what happens inside you and what happens in other people with diseases or disease, it's the course to go for. It is solely based on practical learning and hence a lot of emphasis is laid on it. ICMR can be done but it is done with the government not with the medical institute.

Yes, 1 year compulsory internship in LNJP hospital. It is mainly for providing some experience to the students. We get 15,000 per month. But we have 12 hour duties from Monday to Sunday and sometimes 24 hours as well. We may get a night shift or a day shift, so we have to be prepared for everything.

We have to give the NEET PG exam before getting placed in a hospital. We do have a compulsory 1 year internship in LNJP hospital after 4.5 years. We get around 15,000 per month in our internship and after that we give NEET PG exam.

It is quite reasonable as you have to pay only Rs.2045 per year, but initially you have to pay a security amount of Rs. 2000, so the total fees of MBBS in this institute is around Rs. 11,000 for the whole year. It's quite reasonable when compared to other colleges which are run privately, who take around Rs. 7,00,000 per annum and the total fees becomes around 40,00,000 for 5.5 years of MBBS.

Yes, I was in a sharing room, paid Rs. 6,650 for the year. Food is nice a bit spicy though.

Great faculty, highly educated and specialized. All of them are quiet interactive and usually teach through demonstrations and presentations. The are crystal clear about what they teach and also tell us a lot about life. There is loads to learn, gathering even 10% of there knowledge would be an honor.
