Entrance Preview

I took MT-CET and scored 183/200. I also gave JEE Mains and scored 161. However during our the entry was purely on the basis of CET. I chose civil engineering out of choice and VJTI ranks no.1 in civil engineering, which made me opt for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Well, the course curriculum is quite hectic and makes us work on our toes throughout the semester and the faculty is very experienced and the senior professors are well known in the industry as well .Our course is accredited by NBA and electives such as advanced foundation, advanced hydrology, pre stressed concrete etc are offered.

Internships Opportunities

Internship in our college for civil engineering students is very rare and not more than 1 or two companies visit for internship. The stipend offered is around rs 5000-10000.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are quiet good. Almost more than 90 percent students applying for placements get placed. Companies such as L and T, lodha, Shapoorji pallonji visit the campus. The package ranges from 2 lacs to 10 lacs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government college, the fees is nominal as compared to other colleges. It is around 54000 for open category students and around 30000 for reserved category students.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are numerous scholarships available, both government and private. Besides, the college also provides financial assistance to financially weak students on merit basis.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio might be 3:1 as per my observations. The college does not allow to celebrate or organise parties during the semester. However there are societies for robotics, SRA and for automobile SAE.

Exam Structure

The exam schedule is very hectic. There is no PL and the exams are immediately after the sem end. Each exam has only one day to prepare.
