Remarks

Remarks for mine for mine college are always best. It provides me everything what I want as a student at this age or at this time. It's the best college anyone can have.

Entrance Preview

Written exam was held. With the guidance of my seniors .No there was no interview. My passion.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

For me it's best. Focus is on every aspect including practical training.Regular research initiatives are taken by institute.

Internships Opportunities

Internship is not allowed . And there no such need.

Placement Experience

Placement cell is there for placement.every year approx 70 to 80 percent students get placed into major MNCs like Amazon etc. Major multinational companies companies comes in campus for placement.

College Events

There are many fests in the campus all over the year. They are not so much big.But they are very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very affordable .Only a major amount of approx Rs. 200 you have to pay

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college provides scholarship to every student who is financially backward as per your program. No I don't avail.there is no such thing of getting loan with help of college.there may be but I don't think so.

Campus Life

Yeah there are ample fields here in the college where you can explore your talent. Many clubs are there for extracurricular activities .Annual sports meet is there every year.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I residing in campus hostel only and we get the best facility as much we can get.No fee is there for hostel room. Two people share a single room.Only we have pay mess bill which around 2000 per month.

Alumni/Alumna

Interaction with alumni is always good . There are proper platform where you get to interact with your college alumni. And of course alumni contributes in the overall development of college as well as students.

Exam Structure

No, not at all. there is no such case of boredom. It is a chill culture.

Faculty

4.5

Every single teacher is very much qualified and interactive.they have full knowledge of the subject they teach.

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

A Day at College

Likes

Affordable fee structure that makes higher education accessible to students from different financial backgrounds.
Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

I chose this college over other because of very less fee that's some of 200 rs approx and this university having nirf 2 which also make a great change from others. Admission process is first you've to clear cuet then apply for councelling on jnu portal then check result, if you clear the cutoff that you will get the admission letter and the date of admission and on that day you come with the given document in the list and you will get the admission....Read More
