Remarks

My college is really nice and amazing. The only thing bad about is the non academic staff and the patient inflow is little bit less for a hospital, but it will soon be overcome as our new multispeciality hospital is almost complete.

Entrance Preview

NEET and scored 89 percentile. I opted for this college because it's in Delhi where I live and it's the only private medical college in Delhi and only medical college which have reservations for Muslim which made my admission easy.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is very vast you need to study alot to just even pass your examinations, but you have to do it because you will be dealing with lives.

Internships Opportunities

Not in internship but in medical college there is no such thing as companies who come for internship. you only do your internship from your college where you get paid around 10-20000 per month and after that when you complete your degree you can get job for around 50-60k very easily.

Placement Experience

4

Job options are good and vast, because it's a medical college and being a medical college, you don't need campus placement because jobs are easy to get and infact college only offer jobs worth 60k just after passing your course.

College Events

5

Clinical meets, Sport weeks, Health week, World diabetes day, Hand washing day, Swach bharat abhiyan, Street plays, Sport competition, FestsTobacco day, Heart day, Diabetes day, Treasure Hunt and various other events with good participation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive. 6 lakhs or 15 lakhs per annum. 6 lakhs is for people who qualify under general or reserve and 15 lakh for those who get admission through managment category and apart from this, there is WiFi fee for a year which is 2000 and library fee of 10 thousand once.

Fees and Financial Aid

Education loans are offered scholarship for students who score well. Education loans are there offered by many banks and the scholarship are for those who score well above 60% ie of 4000 rs and also for those who have 100% attendence and also for those who score above 90%.

Campus Life

5

Female is to male ratio is high. Campus life is average but there are lots of extracurricular activities going on, which may be Fests from other faculties or sports competition from other faculties or our faculty. There is also University wide sport and cultural week every year, which comprises of various competition and games. There are people from various countries and religions Nigerian, afghani, Irani, etc.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel facility is really nice with large rooms air condition and everything you need it's twin sharing basis, but the rooms are large enough for three persons, personal Almira and study table along with book shelf for every student. 26 rooms on one floor

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very supportive and caring, they help is in every matter what ever it is they tell us important topics for exams. Tell us about the faculty how to deal with various teachers and staff. They provide us with books and sometimes even teach us. They what's app us the important topics before every paper without even asking and also acts as our mentors and brothers there is no such problem of ragging.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very hectic and there are exams almost every week. We have exams but that's part of every medical college and the most hectic time is finals, when we have exams on consecutive days and the syllabus is huge.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is pretty amazing they help is in our studies, even by going out of the way and don't feel us as a burden or liability but try to educate us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
