Miranda House is the most beautiful college of Delhi University.
College infrastructure is the best of all college. Best department was Mathematics Department.
We liked clicking picture in there and hanging with our friends. Having so good female friends was the best thing happened in my life.

Dislikes

Water of Mirand House is not very good. We told union members, very soon they were going to take action on this too.
I hardly disliked anything in Miranda House.

Course Curriculum Overview

In class 12th I was very good at mathematics and from early class, I had a very good interest in this subject. The faculty in Miranda House is really very nice, cooperative, sweet, and always very helpful. Teaching methods are very innovative, they try to engage every student in class activities like topic presentations, group discussions, and quizzes. Very good at the completion of the syllabus. Always very helpful in exam preparations.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Delhi University is a government university so the fees are not very high. Miranda House, of course, BSc Mathematics Hons, first-year fees is around 18 thousand and second, third-year fees is around 15 thousand. The college provides you with many scholarships. I myself received 2 scholarships last year. Scholarships like Best Student of Science, Anu Beedi, Miranda Alumnae Association scholarship, and many more.

Campus Life

Life at the college campus is very awesome. We had an annual fest TEMPEST of two days. We enjoyed a lot in the fest season like you in the whole fest month you find the whole college decorated as there are many societies and department fests every day. In TEMPEST 2022 on Day 1 we had a Musical band and Day 2 was DJ Night. We enjoyed both days like crazy.

Admission

I applied in 2020, at that time admission was based on Merit. I want to do BSc Mathematics Hons, eligibility of this course is best four subject marks and the four subjects should be main subjects. My best four subjects were Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science. But now the admission is all the best on the entrance exam that is CUET.

A college review full of pros and cons

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.

Though i think maths is a great subject as it is what gives birth to every field but within course it self its all theory and pure maths i thing real application would be appreciated we do have practical for 1 subject each sem thats it should he more.

The Life of A DRC student

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college are moderate as the average package is ?6.5 lakhs and the highest package is around ?23.02 lakhs . Many prestigious companies like delloite, accenture have held various placement sessions in DRC and it's overall a good to place for companies to get high skilled students. The placement cell is very active too which makes it possible for our college to get many internships and placements opportunities.

i think it's very outdated and not of any practical use unless you go for research and scientific fields of science. it does not prepare much for the real world and current market but teaches about biology and chemistry which helps sometimes. the frequency if exam is fine.

Campus Life:

The Fest organised by this college is Priyadarshini and the annual fest Rajnigandha. The Fest are not great in comparison to other du college and are not that much celebrated. There are many different kinds books present in library like literature,Hindi, Chemistry, Maths, zoology, biology, botany, political science, History Geography the books are only alloted till 12pm and only for 15 days after that you will be charged if book is not returned Sports and Extracurricular are good but classrooms are not that great most projectors in classrooms don't work . There are many good societies in college like jamini the art society and others but joining has caused students to leave their classes which affects them academically

KMC- Path to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

The placements cell Avenues regarding the placement offers coming to the college. Major companies of the job market come to the campus for recruitment like KPMG, deloitte, zepto, EY, ZS Associates and many more. The students from the final year itself gets eligible for placements. Around 30-40% students get the palcements through the placement drive. The highest package during the last palcement season was around 18 to 20LPA, while the average was 7 to 8LPA. I will certainly go for higher studies in operational research.
