Course Curriculum Overview
Maths was a very fascinating subject to me from the very beginning. To pursue my future career in Mathematics, I decided to choose this course. The faculty-student ratio was 1:10. The faculty was highly qualified and extremely talented. None of the teacher's qualifications was less than a Ph.D. degree. Some teachers were doing research in several areas of mathematics. The teaching method was quite exquisite. The faculty taught with full passion.
Placement Experience
I don't know much about the placements. I know just a few things that I will share. The students are eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Many companies visit during placements like Tres Vista Financial Services, ICICI bank, Tech Mahindra, HCL, HP, DHL, Wipro, Infosys, and many more. The highest package this year was 7 Lakhs per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Miranda House is a government college. It is one of the top colleges of Delhi University. The fee average was 15000/year. Scholarship schemes were also launched from time to time. Students whose families were financially unstable were also provided with scholarships for financial assistance each year. Also, Scholarships based on marks were also there.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is thrilling, exciting, colorful, cheerful, and a mix of all feelings. The college is surrounded by the best colleges with excellent faculty. There are a lot of fests that take place in Miranda every year. The annual fest 'Tempest' is a 2-3 days extravaganza that brings a youthful exuberance.
Admission
At my time of admission, there was no CUET. The admission was totally merit-based. I opted for BSc(H)Mathematics and got admission in the 5th cutoff. My percentage for the top 4 subjects was 95.5%. I belong to the OBC category.
