Know the truth

I am very much interested in Computer science and Engineering. CSE is a very interesting stream. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:20. All the faculties are Ph.D. holders from top IIT and foreign universities. One semester is of 4 months and the exam is moderate level.

Recruiting companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Toppr Technologies, UpGrad, Tejas Networks, Tekion, Virtusa, Wipro, etc. participated in the placement drive.CTC package also increased compared to the past years. The highest CTC package of INR 61 LPA was the highest ever offered during IIIT Guwahati Placements.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Around 100-150 companies every year. The highest package is 61 lakhs. The average is 17 lakhs. 98 percentage students get placed. I will also take the placement.

The fee remains the same throughout one's BTech journey. But for the freshers, the fee hike is 12500. I haven't taken any scholarship but there are many banks ready to provide the scholarship like SBI, HDFC, etc. The institute invites these banks for easy procedures.

The annual fest is YUVAAN. The tech fest is Entropy. YUVAAN is conducted between February and March while Entropy is conducted between October and November. The library is not too large but enough Books are there to fulfill the needs of students. The classrooms are full of amenities with Wifi, airconditioner, speaker with Smartboard, and benches kept on the stairs. The ground is not well developed, it is under construction phase but the plane is to make ready at the end of 2023. While there is a common ground for girls and boys. You and participate in all extracurricular activities for this well-established club board there are a total of 3 boards. The first one is cultural, under the cultural board total of 6 clubs are there, while the technical board contains 3 clubs and the sports board includes indoor and outdoor clubs. All the things are official and an app is under development which is developed by the students to resolve the queries.

There is one fan, 24*7 wifi, electricity, water with an emergency ambulance, and an attached wash Room. The food of the hostel is moderate. Registration is done during admission time and the procedure is very smooth.

You have to score at least 75 percent in your class 12th examination. I had given the Join Entrance Examination and secured 97.3 percentile. Application for Joining the Entrance Examination is declared by National Test Agency. I Take the college under OBC-NCL. It's a very smooth process hence I don't think there is any scope for improvement.
