Shades of assam engineering college

I always wanted to be an engineer so there's not much of influence to me have chosen this course. I won't say cent percent because real world gives you much more experience but it definitely gives you a start. The frequency of exams are 3-4 weeks

Various internship opportunities are available in our college. Educational,industrial and social internships are provided to students. Various local companies takes up these students so they can learn some basic skill required for them in their career

From 7th semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies come in our college for placement like TCS, wipro, reliance,APL and many more. Most students get placed with average package 4-5 lakh Highest package in AEC 48 lakh My plans after getting degree is getting another degree and then maybe PHD

Year-wise fee is around 25000 which has been paid during counseling process,it includes my hostel fee along with admission fee, development fee,lab fee and the bus fee which 5000 rupee for 1 calender year. Registration fee for examination is taken seperately ranging between 4000 to 2000 depending upon odd even semester. Student with bpl card are financially aided. Other than that all students pay same amont. Various scholarships are provided like nspc which provide money about 80000 for a year which ofcourse needs to meet the necessary eligibility criteria

The experience in assam engineering college has been a roller coaster for me. There are times when I feel if I am I good for engineering then I forget all about it when I'm surrounded with my friends. Social life is very good around here which is a good thing

Hostel facility is decent. With basic amenities been provided. Meals are given 3 times a day including snacks. Food quality can be definitely improved though. 15000 is our hostel feel of 1 calender year. And mess fee is 3000

I chose this college because it's the best govt college in assam. I didn't want to go far for studies I wanted to have a good balanced life between family and studies. And as it is my hometown I feel comfortable here

The faculty to student ratio is around 1: 30. Almost all faculty members are good but some may not be as approachable as others. 2 significant exams are held in 1 year for odd and even semester. Most students pass but it's like once in a blue moon that all students passed it together

Night life in our college is pretty bland. That's because of the recent events that occurred in our college. But still it is good one can hangout in the canteen go nearby stalls and have chats of how's been life lately
