Course Curriculum Overview
The course of food technology indeed has an emerging and bright future. The subject combinations of the curriculum attracted me the most for choosing the subject, being from a science background. Teachers are the foundation of any institution. The faculty members are very much friendly and the quality of education they provide is something to be appreciated. There are very frequent assignments, projects, posters, and ppt presentations with the unit tests being held to make us prepared for the semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
Being a second-year student till now I have not got the opportunity of any internship here but I am sure to get one in the upcoming terms. The students are divided into groups with project guides assigned to each group where innovation is very much encouraged for the preparation for the final project of the curriculum.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, students are eligible for sitting for campus placements. Several companies visit the college and Employ the students as per their requirements. The average package offered here ranges from 3 to 4 Lakh per annum. My plan after getting the degree as of now is to opt for higher studies for better opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The overall fee structure for the 4 years is 4 to 5 lakhs. Beyond curriculum training plays an important and pivotal role for the students here in this institution. Other than that, industrial visits, seminars, and workshops are also held frequently.
Campus Life
Every year the annual tech fest tesseract and the cultural fest, Zyzzva is held with the full enthusiasm and encouragement of participation. At the very beginning of each semester a book Bank is held to provide us with the necessary books for that particular semester. Also, there are provisions for issuing books as per our needs. The classrooms are very clean and tidy. There are also smart classrooms with smart TV sets and a projector. There is the media team by the students which contains all the necessary domains like photography, anchoring, content, and many more.
Admission
I had appeared for the Wbjee, where my rank was applicable for admission in the course of my choice. I provided my rank card with the other necessary details and documents for the admission process. The admission process is simple.
