Cybersecurity sounded extremely fascinating to me, and when i heard about it and the things it consisted of, i wanted to give this a try and i really like how my journey is going on. The curriculum surely prepares you for real world applications, but the areas for improvement in the courses like be more real time projects but as we're in the first year, we're making our base stronger for the upcoming events to attend. I personally like the teaching style and methods of the teacher, how they both theoretically and practically show us the things and help us grow our knowledge by showing us real life examples. I have only given the 1st Semester by now and Unit test occur at a frequency of 1-2 months gap and then after 1 month, the actual Semester exams occur. The question difficultly is moderate, if one has truly studied, then they can surely score a decent grade.

Students become eligible from 3rd year for campus placements. Almost all students are placed, even many students got multiple job offers in MNC companies. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest package is 28 LPA offered. Top recruiting companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra, LTIMindtree, and ITC Infotech visit our college to hire students from the MCA department. Percentage of students placed through GNIT campus selection is 83%. The highest salary package offered is 28 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA to 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, Deloitte, HCL, and many more. My plans after getting the degree would be opting for Mtech degree.

The entire fees is 651900 for 4 years of Btech Cybersecurity course , and during the admission they'll take the admission as well as the fees of 1st semester which is around 1.1 lakhs. Minority students have to pay less of the entire course fee compared to the majority students. The college accepts few scholarship like the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship etc.

There are a number of technical festivity every year which are brought us to us by the seniors of different streams such as the techverse, food invasion and much more The library is one of the nicest places with a numerous amount of books and one is provided with a book bank to take and recieve the books. Every year sports is held inter and intra college which is a great recreation There are number of sports and extra curricular activities all around the year and infact there are a number of clubs one can volunteer into. overall the student life is amazing.

I got selected into Jis kalyani, Guru Nanak, Brainware, SNU and Adamas University. The reason I chose this particular college is by checking their environment and their placement rates particularly in Btech, Another major reason for choosing this particular college was it's distance from my home, leaving me with a time to self study without exhausting myself everyday. I did get a rejection from Narula Institute of Technology Agarpara, and that was because of the booked slots already and besides my Wbjee score weren't that good to start with. The admission process is very simple yet effective. Firstly I had to call the admission officials and they gave us a date and asked us to meet them with few document such as my 10th and 12th marksheets along with my jee and Wbjee scores. Once we showed them our marks, they evaluated based upon my merit of 12th subjects and then I got a direct admission into the college. one could even get into the college through counselling if their jee marks are standard enough. the college takes your 12th, jee and Wbjee scores to get accepted in it and the overall admission experience was quite nice.

As of my experience, the relationship between the student and the faculty has been pretty decent. Teachers are friendly and would co-operate with you to a great extent. For me, I really liked Our Computer Sir, Sourish Mitra Sir, friendly yet professional, made us study in a way that helped us to boost our confidence and without making things difficult. I personally haven't had any encounter where I seem to not like any faculty member till now. Before each semester, we will have atleast two unit tests and the difficulty would be moderate. Semester Exams might be a bit difficult for a few subjects but in a good way. The exams are pretty decent and is relevant to the course curriculum.

I do not accurately know about the night life but hearing it from my friends, it is safe. I do not stay in hostel. The gym is indeed nice and so is the library and the famous hangout spot would definitely be the campus ground and the bench that is parked inside the college. I haven't faced any sense of unsafety till now.
