Entrance Preview

I had a dream of pursuing my Higher education ( M tech) in Automobile, So I left my job after working for 3.5 yrs and took PGCET exam and scored 2500th rank (418th branch rank) I had two best options a PESIT Bangalore and SJCE Mysore. Mysore a perfect place for students when it comes to study and recreation and when it comes to college SJCE a name is enough to show its position. A friendly environment with good and friendly lecturers.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was well cooked to give a perfect taste of the subject. Precisely designed to meet the industrial needs. As our course is general for electronics, electrical telecom mechanical and automobile engineers course is designed to meet requirement such that each of us have the knowledge and expertise in mechanical and electronics design and control related to automotive.

Internships Opportunities

As a course scholorship TEQIP releases 80000 Rs each for top 6 scorers of that branch, There is a good placement interaction and many companies visit campus. Some of it are TOYOTA, BOSCH, GM, INFINEON, CONTINENTAL, MERCEDES etc.

Placement Experience

A wide range of recruiters came to recruitment each students are allowed to get placed on one mass recruiter and 1 or 2 core companies. As a total if I can say is around 80% of total output candidates will get placed.

College Events

Technical paper presentation national level, Department wise cultural fest, Ethnic day, Jayciana, college fest runs for 3 days with very good crowd on that occasion there will be run for cause marathon, cyclathon and many events and in the evening there will be chilled out festive environment.

TEQIP for top 6 scorers of that branch/course GATE scholorship. Cast scholorships, Loan facility through bank only.

There is good alumini network. One can get easily connected to any of aluminies. All details are shared in college, They have done alumini website where we can easily get connected to any of the aluminies in regard of queries or any post curriculum support. .

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

About my college

Placement Experience:

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.

Electronics and Instrumentation branch is truly underrated!

The admission process to this branch will be based on KCET only. Eligibility is 12th pass in science stream and should a Karnataka student to write kcet.
