Course Curriculum Overview

5

I have chosen this course (B.E.CSE) to explore and enhance my technical skills. Subjects like programming, data structures and basic software concepts have helped me to build strong foundation . As my college is regularly conducting additional technical courses like cloud computing and more, which helps us to know what are the real-world applications. They are conducting the exams regularly ,and they conduct two internal exams per sem and one external exam per sem.

Internships Opportunities

5

sairam college of engineering provides internship opportunities through its training and placement cell, which hepls students connect with companies and industries. the college encourages students to participate in certification progarms like aws, red hat , etc. some students have completed internships in comapnies like ventures and other private organisations overeall, internship opportunities are available , but students often need to take initiative to apply and make the most out of them

Placement Experience

5

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho, etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currently pursuing my engineering at Sri Sairam College Of Engineering and I am a student supported by Maatram Foundation. The total fee structure of my course is approximately Rupee 5 to 6 lakhs for the complete 4 years. However i have not personally paid these fees, as my entire college education is being funded by Maatram Foundation. My batchmates admitted through management quota pay significantly higher fees, ranging from Rupee 2 to 2.5 lakhs per year depending on the branch. My college provides strong placement support, including training from the 3rd year ,AMCAT preparation, and to enhance employability. Although my tuition fees are covered,I still need some support in managing expenses related to additional certification courses that are important for my career prospects. Therefore, receiving the LMS scholarship would greatly support me to build my skills.

Campus Life

5

They regularly conducting technical fests and they also encourage us to participate in the technical competitions in some other colleges. I am glad that i can access 6 books at a time unlike other students who can access only 3 books at a time,it is all because of LMS SCHOLARSHIP They also conduct sports and some extracurricular activities regularly once in a year.

Admission

The reason of choosing this college because i got the opportunity through the maatram foundation, which provides me with financial support and made quality education accessible. This college has a good academic environment and offers a suitable curriculum for my course. i did not choose other colleges mainly because this opportunity matched both my financial situation and academic goals. With the support from Maatram Foundation ,Sairam College of engineering , Bangalore was the best option for me

Faculty

5

The faculties are knowledgable, supportive towards students and encourage us through interactive learning. They also conducting two internal exams and one external exam per sem which makes us to improve our academic performances.

Night Life

5

The nightlife around Sairam college of engineering is quite calm and not very active. inside the campus, facilities like the library and cafetaria usually close by evening, and there are limited late-night activities. most students spend time in hostels or relax with friends after classes. overall, the environment is peaceful and more focused on academics rather than late-night entertainment

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
