Sri Sairam College of Engineering Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 6th sem ending we started attending our placement drives. Big companies such as TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Zoho, TechMahendra, Wipro, Capgemini recruits students from our college. Students can attend all the drives which visits our college.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho,etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

THe placement opportunities in my college are decent and training and placement cell actively supports students in preparing for recuirements. Students becomes eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semeester.

Campus placements usually starts during the fourth year or by the end of the third year during the 6th semester and many internships are also provided from the college side and also from the university side as well. the internships provided are a great oppurtunity for students to gain experience and more roles are also involved related to the curriculum.

campus placements in the collage usually start during the final year, and students generally become eligible from the 7th semester depending on their academic performance and eligibility criteria set by companies . The placement cell in the collage helps students by organizing placements drives, aptitude training, and career guidance sessions. varies companies visit the campus every year mainly from IT, Service, and some core engineering sectors. Companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and other mid-level organizations have visited for recruitment in previous years . the average package offered to students is usually around 4LPA to 10LPA depending on the company and job role, while the highest package may very each year based on the recruiting companies . A reasonable percentage of students secure placements through campus recuitment, while some studies or look for opportunities outside campus placements. after completing the degree, my plan is to build strong techical skills and pursue opportunities in the core engineering.

There is not just a single point of contact for the placements but all teachers hold responsibility for placements as 2 hours by each major faculty where in they are attending exams to know and learn about how companies schedule interview and major other certifications exposure is also given in this college

The placement is not too good because who got placed they only getting again and again placed . I'm not eligible to get a placed in top companies because I'm having low grade in 10th 12th the criteria should be overall 60% and 7th sem ur ready to sit in placement there is no issue the placement officer will directly join you in their placement group from there only you will get further update. I visited Qspider And cognizant, TCS Overall 30% got placed I have the plan to after completing the degree to join some startup companies or will try to do some paid internship or try to get placed off campus

the college is providing placements and training .the colleg will be having on campus drives if the student has the ability to crack he will get the job the salary package will be starting form 3lakhs.

They have conduct workshops, Seminars, Symposium, International conference.they have electronics and communication lab, microprocessor lab,vlsi lab.Coming to the curriculum starting they have some basic exams in 2 semesters and improved core subjects.exam timing is about 10 to 1.
