Remarks

No bad remarks at all, if u get admission in BESC u are sure that u can't point out anything bad about this college. Because u will feel the same feeling as u used to fell in school. As we all know guys school life's are awesome.

Entrance Preview

There was no entrance exam taken by the college, u just have to get good marks to get admission in this college. while u require at least 70% to get admission in the morning session.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken up b.com (h) in the Bhawanipur educational society college. Which still looks a good idea for me the college provide a lot of seminar such as how to do well in b.com and others seminars as well

Internships Opportunities

Don't know much about the internship but ya we receive internship if u also have done some extra activity as well.

Placement Experience

Sorry there is no placement for b.com while there are placement for other courses for sure.

College Events

The college is generally famous for it's events. If you join this college it's for sure that u will never get bored in any of it but take part in umang the most entertaining event of the college.

The college took approximately 38700 for the whole year which is quite high but the facility they provide with it's a good choice.

The college doesn't provide any loan facility but ya there are scholarship if u get 90 % and above.

Hostel Facilities

No, the college doesn't provide hostel for boys but there is a girls hostel, boys hostel is in construction but it will take 3-4 year to complete but there are good pg near the college as well in the range 7000-10000 per month.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Exam Structure

From this year the pattern have just been changed first the exam would held once in a year but now it have become the semester system the exams are held twice a year.

There are over 130+ faculty in this college. The teachers are very friendly and are always ready to help u in any way

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Having fun at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

Beyond Books : Life at St. Xaviers

Placement Experience:

The students from their 3rd year become eligible for campus placement. Different companies including the Big 4 like Deloitte KPMG etc made offers in 2024-25 and the average package offered in BCOM was 4.5 LPA. I plan on sitting for the placements after i get my degree, that is if im not pursuing my articleship at the time.

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me .
