Course Curriculum Overview

CSE at IIIT Guwahati is one of the best if you want to be placed at good MNCs it has a good past record. Faculty are good and attendance is a must for some professors. 90% are from IIT Guwahati PhD holders some are from Australia/UK with very good knowledge. Term exams are so difficult in IIIT GUWAHATI very strict checking and hard to get 7cpi plus.

Class Size: 143Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities

120+ companies visited every year and 1 lakh is a high internship stipend. Placement is very good no worries you will get placed getting IIIT is very hard and you can even get a 1+ cr package if you want.

Placement Experience

6th-semester students are eligible for internships and Amazon, jio , Microsoft, Dell, Samsung Etc . The highest is about 1.2cr and avg is 20lpa this year for CSE. 98% placed every year. I will also try to get a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are the same as last year 2.5lakhs for tuition fees and for mess fees, 3.7k per month, and 12500 per semester for hostel fees and others are there. Through nsp you can get if you are not proper and other pvt are also there.

Campus Life

The annual fest is Yuvan and the technical fest is entropy which is very great I love it. The library is also their no problem fully AC library good environment. Many clubs are robotics clubs and programming clubs. The sports ground is in process 2024 new sports will ready.

Admission

Must have a jee mains rank for this college. Jossa through college will allot based on the rank of jee mains; Obc /sc/st, No improvement in the admission process. You should have jee mains scorecard.

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute.The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.

Placement Experience:

Placement percentage is nearly about 75-80%. Usually students get placed in good PSUs, or in tech companies. Other students opt for further studies like mtech or mba. My plans is to mtech as I want to do better jobs than a btech graduate do

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

An honest review for NIT silchar with detail analysis.

Placement Experience:

Placement of NIT silchar is pretty good. Average package is around 12 Lpa. Although after corona the placement dropped but still it is good. Many big tech companies visit during placement for full time and internship. Core companies also visits for different roles. During our placement season it happens generally after 7th semester. Generally criteria for sitting in any company varies based on cgpa and sometimes 10th and 12th marks depends on company to company generally it is 6 or 7 or 8 cgpa. Good it companies offer 20-30lpa and lowest offer was 6th lpa.

For campus placement student are eligible from 7th sem and for internship whole 3rd year 5th to 6th sem. Highest package till now is 34 lpa i guess in intuit .and lowest 6lpa.I am totally focus into doing job rsther than doing higher studies .Iam placed at Deloitte and i am happy.till now 50 percent students of civil got plsced 80 percent Cse

Review of the college in north east

This college has a good curriculum and also great for going to research side I preferred this over the others I applied because the others had no permanent campus and were very far from home moreover some do not have good research programs .I preferred this college over IIIT pune IIIT kota and vit which gave me a confirmed admission.i got rejected from a few colleges like mnit allahabad IIIT lucknow and IIIT Allahabad because I did not reach its cut off ranks .the admission process is quite simple in my college it is done through jossa councelling of jee .u can get admission through jee mains it is the most preferred exam by the students and for cse branch u have to get above 20000 rank and for ece above 430000 this is for general male...Read More
